Ventura Disables Full Disk Access After Upgrade
by Frank · Published · Updated

We are receiving reports that the ‘Full Disk Access’ setting is being changed when the macOS Ventura upgrade is applied. Apple is aware of the issue and has provided a temporary workaround. Which, one would assume, means that they will provide a permanent fix in a future version of the OS. Until they provide a permanent fix, it is important to review your ChronoSync and ChronoAgent installations before running your first syncs on the new macOS.
CHRONOSYNC
All you need to do is double-check that you have added the ChronoSync App to the ‘Full Disk Access’ section of the ‘System Preferences->Security & Privacy->Privacy’ panel and that the item is enabled (check mark next to the item).

CHRONOAGENT
If you upgrade a ChronoAgent Mac to macOS Ventura, verify that you have added the ChronoAgent to the ‘Full Disk Access’ section of the ‘System Preferences->Security & Privacy->Privacy’ panel on the ChronoAgent Mac and that the item is enabled. If you don’t see it there, follow these steps: https://www.econtechnologies.com/chronoagent/TN-CA-full-disk-access.html
