iPad 2.0.1 - January 27th, 2020

- Fixed a problem whereby a local sharespace may appear out of storage space for a short while, immediately after app startup.

- Implemented the Document Templates feature whereby the app ships with several predefined document templates that allow users to use the ‘New Document’ action to create starter documents. These can then be edited directly in their associated apps by invoking “Open in…” from the Share menu to give the user the ability to add their own starter documents as templates.
- On iPad, if the sharespace contents transition to a horizontally compact state, the top options drawer is enabled, allowing the user to change arrangement settings by exposing the drawer similar to the iPhone version.
- When creating and/or editing a sharespace configuration, the Sharespace contents clears and the “Sharespace not selected” becomes visible in the main browser to focus attention on the sharespace configuration and disallow other interaction while editing a configuration.
- Minor performance improvements when dealing with an extremely large set of files in a folder.
- Significantly reduced the memory footprint when accessing files in InterConneX from other Apps.
- When accessing InterConneX files from another App, a ‘Recents’ menu is displays recently selected folders. Recent folders are tracked on a per-sharespace basis. Only the 10 most recent folders are remembered.
- Implemented support for 6-digit passcodes when enabling security on a sharespace. Backwards compatible with sharespaces protected by a 4-digit passcode. Also, the user can optionally choose to use a 4-digit code if they prefer.
- Implemented a new ‘Clear Selection’ toolbar item that will de-select all objects when tapped.
- Provided more preference options for larger Pasteboard, email attachments and local cache limits. The app also defaults to larger values on fresh installations.
- All Tools, once invoked, effectively run modally. Tapping outside of the popover containing the Tool will NOT dismiss the tool. You will either have to complete the Tool’s operation or hit a Cancel/Done button, or tap one of the other ‘approved’ buttons such as Tools or Actions.
- The Pasteboard Summary view now offers more room to display the description of the local or global Pasteboard contents.
- The Pasteboard popover now only displays the “Done” button when the UI is horizontally compact.
- Established a more consistent minimum height for various operations.
- Tweaked the Actions and Tools icons to have a consistently sized and placed ‘drop down’ arrow in the lower right corner.
- The ‘running’ and ‘attention’ variants of the tool bar Operations icon was tweaked to feature a solid fill.
- The rename long-press gesture recognizer has been removed from the icon and list views since they competed with drag & drop.
- The contextual menu displayed in the icon & list views are segmented by the OS if necessary.
- The contextual menu displayed in the icon & list views now contain a ‘Rename’ and ‘Deselect Others’ item, if relevant.
- Tweaked the default height of the Action and Tools popover to be a half a row taller than required.
- Tweaked the layout and button options of the main sharespace browser toolbar when transitioning between horizontally compact and regular UI traits.
- Tweaked some text field colors in the Sharespace Info popover.
- Tweaked the size and layout of sharespace file icons in the iPhone version.
- Now dismisses the sharespace selector if it was being presented during a compact->regular UI trait transition.
- The Copy and Move operations now implement a ‘Back’ button at the bottom left toolbar.
- The Copy and Move operations now display “Top” as the upper left navigation bar button to jump back to the top of the folder hierarchy.

- The Sharespace Info popover now limits its height better. It also only displays a ‘Close’ button if it is displayed in a horizontally compact state.
- When accessing InterConneX for browsing folder hierarchies from other Apps, InterConeX now employs toolbar icon buttons to implement “Top” and “Back” functionality.
- When saving a file to InterConneX and the user navigates the folder hierarchy to designate the destination for the placed file, only the ‘Back’ functionality is implemented and has been moved to the bottom toolbar from the top navigation bar. A ‘Cancel’ button exists in its former place in the navigation bar.
- When saving a file to InterConneX, it provides the option to hide the extension of any file that is externally received.
- When saving a file from the Pasteboard, InterConneX provides the option to hide the extension of any file that is externally received. This replaces the former functionality of specifying an extension that should be appended to the filename.
- The selected sharespace now draws with the same background color as the sharespace browser. This makes the selected sharespace more readily identifiable.
- Modified the footer message displayed when con figuring publishing on a sharespace so that it lays out better.
- On iPad, when Actions and Tools buttons are moved to the bottom toolbar (due to a compact UI trait transition), we now use the iPhone versions of those icons, which have no drop-down arrows in them.
- Copy operations whereby local, modified proxy files are being written back to their remote sharespace are now designated as “Synchronize” operations rather than “Copy” operations.
- All file managers now determine whether an object represents a package file locally.
- Remote connections (ChronoAgent or InterConneX) will now identify themselves as “InterConneX Document Provider” or “InterConneX Connected Sharespace”, depending on the connection context.
- Incorporated new artwork for numerous menu items, sharespace icons and general file system objects.
- Now use Asset Catalogs for storing media resources.
- The Operations History popover now displays seven entries instead of five.
BUG FIXES:
- Fixed a bug whereby dismissing the Print using a tap-out or any method other than completing the print job or tapping ‘Cancel’ would result in an application crash.
- Fixed a bug whereby the application could crash if you deleted a sharespace and then clicked ‘Done’ to exit edit mode before the sharespace deletion had fully completed.
- Fixed a bug whereby you could invoke multiple connection attempts to a remote a sharespace by rapidly tapping “Connect” in the main sharespace browser view.
- Fixed a bug whereby operation progress reporting was incorrectly counting/reporting every item inside a package file.
- Fixed a bug which would raise an exception if unzipping an archive that contained a root “/” entry.
- Fixed a bug whereby switching the view state of a security keypad controller from 4 to 6 digits (or vice versa) could cause a crash.
- Fixed a bug whereby if sharespace authentication were active (aka ‘Keypad’) and the user switched between two sharespaces, this would make authentication impossible.

- Changed the manner in which sharespaces are selected in the iPhone version to fix a UI glitch in the path selector that would sometimes occur.
- Fixed a bug whereby when creating/editing a sharespace, the “All your settings have been specified…” footer was visible even if all your settings were not fully specified.
- Fixed a bug whereby the “Description” field of the Sharespace Info was not allowed to wrap and thus would cutoff long descriptions.
