ChronoSync 10.2 Released
by Frank · Published · Updated
We are pleased to announce the release of ChronoSync 10.2!
The most notable change in this release pertains to creating bootable backups on macOS 12 Monterey.
In macOS 12.3, Apple introduced a bug in their ASR utility, which broke the ability to create a bootable backup. Since there was no workaround available, we were forced to remove the option of making a bootable backup, when running on macOS 12.3. We are happy to report that with the release of macOS 12.4, Apple has fixed the bug and we are now able to offer the bootable backup option, once again!
This release also addresses some issues with connecting to certain SMTP servers, and some keychain issues.
A complete list of changes can be found in the release notes.
